Ground frames are for local control of points, signals, etc. They are intended to be used at the trackside and do not require a signal box although protection from the weather would be beneficial.

They can be mounted directly onto a suitable base or onto a raised pad as required.

The connections to points and signals etc. are lead off horizontally directly from the lever between the pivot and the underside of the sweeps.

Available as Single lever units, double lever units, and quadrupal lever units.

Options are:

1) Fully machined kits including a welded steel mainframe with main items finished in silver/grey undercoat and sweeps painted black together with all required fixings/springs etc.

2) Fully assembled. Painted as above. All nuts and bolts, split pins etc. self covered.

3) Custom painted, Fully assembled, with levers, catch handles, lever badges etc painted to your requirements.
